The League of Historical Societies of New Jersey is a non-profit corporation of the State of New Jersey.

Our objectives are "...to promote and further the improvement, interpretation, and preservation of our historical heritage in New Jersey..."

The League is the largest grass-roots association in New Jersey history with some 260 member organizations which represent more than fifty thousand members.
